I've not been to G-Spot for quite a few months now but I've heard it's had something of a makeover.
Has anyone been there recently who can advise what it is like these days?

Hi Jay
We have been going to Gspot for 3 years now. It’s not like Charms where u are forced to put a towel on you dress in what you feel comfortable in as long as it is smart. The new management team are doing the club up as we speak which looks 100 times better. In the time we have been going to Gspot we have seen Management come and go but the ones now are trying there upmost to get the club back on its feet from the bad name it got. Some say the soft drinks cost too much but they are no more than pubs and other clubs. As a single male you can have a one night pass for £30 as advertised on there web site. Why not give it a try and you can make your own mind up if you do not like it its only cost you a few quid what have you got to lose. Sat nights at the moment are the best night and If you do go let us know we can have a chat/drink and see how it goes.
Take care

Thanks KettSwingers for your comments. I am actually a member and have been going for a number of years but, as I am not local anymore, it is sometimes several months between visits. I heard there had been some changes and wondered if anyone knew more.
Shaz and Tony - Not seen you for a while, trust you are well?

Thats why we would like something thats crossed between x-tasia and chams, as we don't like having to walk about in a towel, x-tasia you dont have to lol
So is anyone planning to go down to G-Spot on Friday (10th August)? Plan to be there sometime after 10:30.

Hi Danne
After seeing what you have said we have just been on Charms web site and it does say you have to put a towel on or shorts.
(
We have also phoned them and they also said you must be in a towel or Shorts. We have also compared prices with Chams & Gspot and Gspot seems to be cheaper but as you said it does not have a Jacuzzi

i have been to chams many many times and yes the men usually wear towels and some wear shorts but iv also seen some dressed in other stuff (leather stuff etc)
the women dress in all sorts........mayb the majority wear towels but many wear sexy stuff
iv also seen fully clothed people there to on 2 occasions
when i phoned g spot they told me it was £60 membership per year and then the entrance fee
even tho i was inquiring as a single woman
at chams there is no membership fee for single women or couples (i think there is for single men tho)
and the entrance fee is at the most £30 per couple and for single women i think its mayb £5
therefore for me its cheaper to go chams as no membership fee
i have been told by someone who goes g spot that as a trial i could get in without joining just once but if i went back id hav to pay membership fee
but when i phoned g spot they never mentioned that !!
when iv loked on their website the prices are different to what they told me on the phone tho but i hav phoned them twice and been told the same both times........... very odd :D
we've been members of since its first month of opening and visited on and off due to various incidents the new management are trying to build it up again, you probably wont see much decor diference,we do feel safer there nowadays as martin won't allow drunks in (even if it did produce more revenue) but alas its taking a while, hence many times we've gone home without 've not been this year when it has been buzzing like other clubs but maybe you should try it and see. rumour has it
single guys have more luck on a one night cheap pass is a bonus to try it though.
