Hi Loz, I'm sorry but I'm not going to be able to come to the social next weekend due to having to work at the pub. Total mess up with the owners son and family on holiday, and the annual bonfire/fireworks party run by regulars being moved from Sunday to Saturday only this weekend. I tried to cancel my Travellodge booking earlier this morning only to find they have no record of it despite taking money for it on my visa card. Hope all goes well on Saturday.

ahhhhhh. If its on visa and you have a booking number you should be able to cancel. Still never mind next one is poss 2nd March keep eye on forum xx Thanks for letting us know its really appreciated xx Take care

OMG am still buzzing what a fantastic turn out. Such a great night Thank you EVERYONE who turned up to make this another night to remember, venue was heaving, Brilliant costumes Disco was rocking Staff were fantastic. Could spend hours thanking everyone individually for their contribution but i need some shut eye. Special thanks though to KurvyKitty for all your help you are a star, Lapua and Morathi for all your support and help, LounMac for everything you did, LeeClaire for making sure we got back to the hotel in one piece, Updates and info for next one to follow when i am home and more able bodied.

WOW - what a great weekend. That's my second social, and it was GREAT to meet so many new people, and catchup with some that I already knew. The group is so open, generous, and fun to be around. Anyone reading these comments, looking for a final 'push' to attend a social should just GO FOR IT - you won't be sorry!

Thanks Loz for organising yet another fab social. This was our 3rd and although we unfortunately couldn’t make the whole weekend we’re glad we came for the night. Was great catching up with friends and making new ones. Sadly we can’t make the next one 😢

Thanks to Loz and everyone involved in making last night happen. When my colleagues ask if I’ve had a good weekend, I look forward to telling them I got drunk whilst a man did shots in an inflatable light-up suit and I had a flange handed to me by a ghostbuster. Gotta love the no-fucks-given, authentic vibe of the social 😜
