Hi, I really am trying hard to make a friend or 2 here at swinging heaven. I live in Nortehrn Ireland so it is a bit difficult for me to get to 'munchs' etc on the mainland. I will be staying in Cheadle on w/e 15/18th Oct and would really love to get to one if someone can tell me where and if the travel time to it is practical as I will not be driving. If there is not a suitable 'munch' nearby I would be really keen to meet up with a lady or a couple for a social chat and perhaps a nice meal (no strings attached) and hopefully she/they could help to educate me in the details and proper conduct of members on this site/forum. Come on give me a chance - I really do not wish to offend anyone. Number 1

All the munches currently being held in the next 6 months are advertised in the sticky threads at the top of this forum. You cannot go to any munch unless you ask for an invite to a specific one, and to be invited you have to be a regular poster on here or known to people in the chat room. As you only joined very recently, the chances of a munch organiser giving you an invite, even if there was one between the 15 and 18th Oct are very slim indeed.
To learn about proper conduct on this forum you'd be better off starting with the AUP, then the advice sections, and maybe getting a mentor (see the sticky post at the top of the cafe), rather than relying on meeting someone who would be willing to spend time explaining what is all here already.

No problem, but as the great Wilde said, "Education is an admirable thing, but it is well to remember from time to time that nothing that is worth knowing can be taught".......... in this case, I think Oscar is saying stick around on the forum and you will quite quickly find out how the site works and how lovely lots of the people are on here lol wink wink wink
