Can't help you out on the meeting up front, but you are in a rather beautiful little town with the highest concentration of Michelin starred restaurants in the country.
I say try and blag a lunch at the fantastic Hibiscus (you might get a cancellation) which does outstanding mdoern French with some quite unusual twists. The owners are shutting up shop and moving to London shortly so enjoy it whilst you can.
Of course sex is a wonderful thing, but to be honest in this increasingly hectic world a leisurely lunch on your own, with peace, quiet and the papers, is a much undervalued indulgence.
