Just an update on the chaperoning idea. ( take note sexyjo !)
There are 3 current chaperones. Marcuso, myself and Freckledbird.
Anyone else who wishes to volunteer is more than welcome, though it may not be called on if there is no one to chaperone.
Just in case anyone is in any doubt, we'll try and match a male regular with a male newbie.. and female regulars with female newbies for obvious reasons. Chaperoning doesn't mean the regulars get free drinks, or will be buying newbies drinks! And no one is ever to buy Happy Cats a drink!
I can't see the point of making any hard and fast rules on this, as a munch is hectic. But chaperoning is to get newbies past the biggest hurdle, getting over their nerves to get in the door and calm down a bit and maybe introduce them to people they know from online. After that, maybe you'll want to keep an eye on them, or let them spread their wings on their own. It's all up to you.
Anyhows. I'll shut up now. Except to say... Newbies.. don't be shy, just ask, even if you just need a point of clarification or advice and not the whole thing.

We have just noticed the munch in Leicester this weekend, we were wandering if we could come along.
We have been using the chat rooms as Lee_diana71825 and FingersAmbient. over the last couple of years. We have been registered to use the photo adds since april 2004.
We know a couple of the peeps who are going, I am sure they could verify us. Can you suggest what we can do.

I have found out that the Venue has been double booked so I have had to cancel so we could go elsewhere and it will still be our own private Munch. We all know how important it is for us not to have potential gawpers and troublemakers flocking around Munches.
So I had no alternative Leicester Munch will not be held at the Venue you all have been told about.

Here is the good news
You know me !!!!! I hate to disappoint sooooooooooooooooooooo
After letting my fingers do the walking Leicester Munch has a new home. I have booked it and we are ready to Rock on Saturday as per the advertised Date
EVERYONE who was on the list will be contacted on Friday with new DETAILS.
I will stress that this Munch is STILL very MUCH ON and I look forward to seeing you all on Saturday.
Please retain the phone number you had on the previous information in case of problems
WARNING
When you get your new details Please remember the contents of the pm are strictly confidential between the Munch organiser and YOU.
There is NO acceptable excuse for leaking Munch information.
