No need to say it to most people, but the hotel details etc. shouldn't be discussed in the open forum. One of these days, someone with a grudge or wanting to give a bit of a naughty story to a newspaper, is going to turn up at a social and people will find themselves outed.

Agreed, which is why I removed the thread. If the person with the spare room wishes to offload it they should PM HnS with the details and hopefully they will be able to match it up with someone looking. ;)

I would like to attend the Macclesfield social with a lady friend off elsewhere, I hope that's OK if you could reserve 2 places and I look forward to your confirmation?

Please note that once again we have exclusive use of this venue.
There will be a door charge of £2 per person to cover the venue cost, music equipment hire etc. with music once again being kindly provided by ‘DJ Russ’ aka Mr Devon4u.

All those accepted onto the invite list will be granted access to the Macc Socials Group : http://www.swingingheaven.co.uk/groups/6913/, where they can find the usual hotel, taxi, and other details.
As always the exact details of the venue will not be sent out to anyone until the week before the Social in order to protect everyone who is attending and to make sure we do not have any uninvited guests, so invitees are kindly asked not to discuss the venue details with those not on the published invite list.
Also as this is a Social event and so there may be people attending who are not members of SH - if you are bringing someone who is not a member or a banned former member, just let us know so we can keep a separate list (available to see on request).
