I believe there's a bit of pub-going in the afternoon, and some people go out and get some food beforehand. There are even people who get there the day before and ... I'm not sure what happens. Mostly knitting and bible study, I think.
I don't know how these things are organised. My usual approach is to stand around looking lost, but that's how I go through life in general.

hpsaucyy - I organise a mini pub crawl in the afternoon at 3pm - ideal way to meet half a dozen or so of us so you then know a few in the evening.
I'll pm you my mobile number so you can find us if you want to join us - we don't walk that far, I don't drink a lot and it's a good giggle.

We know that we say this every time, or something similar, however the organising part is actually relatively easy.
OK some rushing around in the last few days and geting people in on the night, though same for every Social.
The best bit by far is seeing everyone enjoying themselves and making it such a successful and thoroughly enjoyable night, usually evidenced by the hung over but still smiling faces in the morning.
So glad everyone enjoyed, again.
Just so people know there's another one booked for February, so keep your eyes out for a new thread announcing this soon.
As always a few thanks, Devs for the music, Vix for helping on the door, Mr Blue for 30 mins door keeping, plus the Venue itself who enjoyed the night saying best yet, and finally every one who attended for making it so enjoyable and memorable.

So I have been fairly hoarse today from singing along whilst dancing to all the super tunes, had a big silly smile on my face from catching up with so many great friends, meeting new people and getting upto all sorts of naughtiness and still love the fact that the venue landlady recognised and waved at me when she drove past me Saturday afternoon ha ha ha - big thanks to you all for sorting another legendary night.
