I already have a contingency plan should the authorities declare such a state of emergency. Several caches of Jaffa Cakes have been placed in secure locations around Macclesfield. I hid them in somebody's cleavage, but I can't recall who said cleavage belonged to. So I have no choice but the check the cleavages of every female attending the social. Sucks to be me...

All those still to confirm have now been chased and advised that any not confirmed by that date will be removed from the list and their place offered to the 'next in line' on the Reserves List. (Thus providing them with sufficient time to their arrangements regarding travel, accommodation, etc. )
