Well it does only take two clicks of the mouse to have a look..........one to click on and another to click off
I think the onus is on the poster of the message to give as much info as he/she can in the opening post. Anyone can then decide whether it is close enough, or of interest to them in replying.
It does not take the postee that much more effort to say where they are from, what they are looking for, etc., etc. After all, it is they who are looking for someone to reply to THEM !!!
Sorry if this ruffles a few feathers...but maybe, just maybe, that is what is needed in some of these posts.
Having said all that...............Hope everyone finds what they are looking for smile :)

Yes I quite agree. How many times do we read posts asking for a meet *now* and not giving the slightest hint of an area in their profile? rolleyes
I can't see why anyone would want or need to hide their location. They don't have to be explicit and give full postcode, but surely even listing the county in which they live would help confused

Yes I agree with all of the above comments. I am quite often at a loose end during the day, and it really annoys me when I see a post asking for a meet, but does'nt say which area, or who they are, ( some of your nick names give no indication of gender ) I have to check their profile to see if they are male, female, or a couple. I know, a headline is just that, and is to grab our attention, but, come on a bit more info initially would help, both the poster, and the reader.
