hello dreamer helen, i've recently joined and would love to come to the munch..only got one post and this is it im afraid.. i just thought i'd ask because opportunities only come along once in a while and because im a bit cheeky (no pun intended) and i've only recently joined. but please please can i come.. im a great party person and i'm very discreet and respectfull too.. and i've only just learned how to post because biwelshminx told me how to in the chats (im not namedropping biwelsh but she/he is very helpfull).

1. Am I the only person who has read page one of this post!!!!
2. I did post on this subject before but never got a sensible answer (I seem to recall a piece of string round my neck was one solution). What am I going to do with my flipflops whilst at the munch? I was hoping they would fit in my bumbag that I use for transporting my favourite beer tankard around but checked last night and they dont. It will be far too cold to wear them upon leaving the munch at this time of year, so am at a total loss. Any ideas will be gratefully appreciated.

Take along two large bulldog clips and attach one to each ear! lol

Im sorry Helen but due to lack of funds for hotel I will have to give this one a too far for me without a stop over, I donâ€™t like the tubes at the best of times and donâ€™t fancy travelling on them alone at night. I am hoping that I can make the London munch in March (as itâ€™s very near my birthday)â€¦..just wish I lived nearer!

Tabbi, you could always look out for my brown socks at Cambridge Train Station. I was soo looking forward to saying hello as well, you are one of those names that is popping up regularly of whose face I have no idea. If you have five spare minutes at Cambridge can I buy you a coffee (depending on what time you are there and if I am worthy).

Not bad for a first ever post though lol

By the way is anyone else still totally unaware of how they are travelling (It's the leaving early for train and drinking v staying all night and drinking rip-off soft drinks challenge that is leaving me undecided) I am sure all will become clearer tomorrow when I find out where I am travelling to :lol:

Excitement building ehh folks. biggrin

It's today hurrah :D
Going back to my flip flops, unless I wear my best winter coat and ram them into the inner pockets, though they will be wet and it might mess up my coat. I had hoped they would fit into my huge pockets in my old beige coat but sadly four inches protrude out of said pockets.
Looks like I might have to ditch them and get some off ebay, unless I post them back to myself, wow what an idea....Nah will be cheaper to walk around with them sticking out of my jacket looking like a complete tosser :!: lol
