Please keep those balances coming guys. I need to pay in full before the 4th February so I need the money before the end of this month. If you haven't paid in full before the end of the month the venue is likely to cancel your booking and you'll lose your deposit.
It's still not too late for new people to add their names but I'll need payment in full asap. biggrin
Steve

I need to pay the balance for the Banquet next week so can you please make sure you get them to me before Saturday. If we don’t pay the balance in full then we’ll lose the deposits for those that haven’t paid and I would really hate for that to happen.
Many thanks.

I'm wearing the dress I'm getting married in, on Monday, to the banquet. Y'all can see it soon as we get wedding pix on line. (My guess will be Tuesday)
I need to pay the balance for the banquet by Friday 4th Feb (this Friday). If I don't receive the balance from the following people before Friday then unfortunately I'll have to drop them from the list and any deposits already paid will be lost. The deposits have already been paid to the venue and we currently have 58 places booked at a cost of £580. The venue reserves the right to retain any deposits already paid if the balance isn't paid in full one month before event.

Because of the number of people involved the venue has very kindly offered to extend our booking period for another week. This gives the people that have previously paid a deposit but not the balance until next Friday before that deposit is lost. Come on guys, they’re holding £160 of your money at the moment.
The Banqueting Hall holds a maximum of 164 people and on 5th March 161 of those places are booked (unfortunately that includes 16 empty seats currently booked by us). That only leaves 3 spare seats if anyone is thinking of making a late booking (that could rise to 19 spare seats next Friday though).
Whilst that means that we will make up a ¼ of the people there it also means that ¾ of the people there will be normal Joe Public having a night out. They could be celebrating anything from an engagement to a Golden Wedding anniversary so please remember that and act/dress accordingly. This is purely a social night out and the venue reserves the right to eject anybody for what they consider to be unacceptable behaviour/dress. Medieval fancy dress is fine and smart casual dress is fine but denims, track suits, trainers etc are not allowed.
I’ve previously given out details of a hotel in the area but if anyone has lost them then please let me know and I’ll pass them on again. There are only 4 weeks to go so probably best to book your accommodation as soon as possible.
Only 4 weeks to go??????
Steve
I paid the balance I was reminded that not a single person in our party has requested a vegetarian or special needs meal (gluten free etc). If any of you want to go veggie then please let me know asap.
Make that 44 people. Venus & Mars are now fully paid up as well. biggrin
Steve
The banquet is in two weeks!!!
If anyone wants the veggie menu then please let me know this week.
Steve
I'm having nightmares about what to wear confused Even woke up at some ungodly hour last night, in a cold sweat cos dreamt I was on Ebay bidding on a really hideous dress. Knew I didn't like it, but was panic bidding, got up to some huge amount before I woke up :?
I'm afraid the way it's going at the moment, I'm gonna look like a bluddy Vampire mad I've looked at every website in the world, this past couple of days - and you just can't get anything for the fuller figure .... well nothing that isn't gonna make me look like a space hopper :x
So if anyone knows where I can buy a medieval looking over coat type thing dunno Please put me out me misery and tell me! And it can't cost a fortune either!
these seem reasonable enough biggrin not sure if it's what you are looking for though Mischief rolleyes think they deliver too...

Lucy xxxx
Awwww thanks Lucy, you're a love kiss
I really need something with arms tho - preferably them dangly arm holes. Kinda like a dressing gown only more fitted confused
If there is anyone around the Southampton area that is a seamstress/tailor ......... please help this damsel in distress :? ..............
or not in distress at the moment, cos haven't got a bluddy dress to be in mad
Found this in Southampton:

Unfortunately there are no pictures.
Maybe worth a phone call?

Steve
it's a surprise Steve lol
paid for it by paypal..just hope it gets delivered in time
Lucy :P
Oh well done Lucy :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:
I went on ebay too........ but all I won was a pattern to make a dress lol So I have a load of material now in a squillion pieces of varying shapes and sizes confused
Correction .... I lied - my wonderful gorgeous mum has a squillion pieces of material round her place :rose: Which is a good job really, cos it seems to mean something to her  Just looks like loads of bits to me dunno
What fascinates me even more is that I bought material roughly the length of my house - I could fit on it probably four times over both lengthways and it fitted round me with lots of room to spare. I had visions of a 12 ft train  But now she's saying she's gotta go and buy some more material cos there wasn't enough  .......... How the hell isn't there enough, you could fit a family of four in that material and still have room for the pet dog :? Where did it go!!
Brill Mischief biggrin at least your sorted too honey !!
I was going to buy a pattern if I didn't win the bid rolleyes Glad I did now though lol
I just have the headress to make ..bought the material for that on sat. smile
Looking forward to seeing your outfit hon  I'm sure your mum will do a grand Job.. :P :P

Even if she doesn't I'm lumbered, cos would never have the heart to say that's rubbish I'm getting something else lol - nah, she's good at sewing, very good. If I look like a sack of shit, it's not cos of her sewing, although I might still blame that :lol2:
I'm finding it incredibly hard to resist the urge to make a pointy had with flashing lights all over it lol Blummin Celtic2 planted that seed, and it won't go away now smackbottom
received my dress today can stop panicking now lol
  Roll on the banquet :bounce: :bounce:
