i know its early but this is just to let everyone know that mandy and myself have booked everything for april 25th 2009 for the next oxford social. yeehar. with the hall the disco karoke and a buffet the cost works out at ï¿½3 per head, the hall will hold up to 150 so if after everything is paid there are any monies left over a local charity will receive it. like i said i know its early but as you know times flies by and it gives everyone plenty of times to book babysitters, time off work and importantly accomodation. more details to follow x

I'm going to start by admitting, that having not been able to get in the chatroom recently, to share in the anticipation of the event, I wasn't as excited as I normally am in advance until I was ten minutes away and it all started to seem real.
I needn't have worried, it was as always a complete and utter blast. I've had a sleep on bus on way home so can do more than a one liner.
Brief highlights include playing Yackety Sax on my mobile whilst two members chased each other round beer garden...me kicking someones drink about 15 yards across the patio ( redface

)...meeting people I've been chatting to for years...having a brief chat or two with someone at their first social to help calm their nerves (they also appeared to have a complete blast)...being awarded BBW best dancer 2009 (Mens) - that is so going up on my desk at work next to my two valentines cards I still have up :lol2: ...drinking good real ale at the venue drinkies

some great fun at karaoke turns..being rescued from dancing on my own like a pillock during a slow dance kiss

That's enough memories for now. Huge thanks to Jen, Mandy and Keith. Huge apologies to all those I never spoke to for long enough, there were just too many sexy, fun and intelligent people to speak long enough to you all.
