I had decided to organise a social but after much deliberation with a few people have decided instead to make it a munch and will be celebrating Mrs C's birthday in a roundabout kind of way...the side order of the night will be to have a good 'ol drink, catch up with old friends and make some new ones
It will be held in a private function room that will easily hold 120 people and as its an official munch it is goverend by site rules, if anyone is unsure what a munch is then read this link
There will be a DJ on and hopefully a late licence (to be confirmed shortly) but as of yet there will be no buffet. That said, if enough people are willing to pay per head (cost will be approx £5 per head) then i will gladly have a buffet laid on so please, when replying to have your name/s added to the list please state if you would be willing to pay....also please answer the poll question on the same topic so i can keep a check on it quickly!!
If the general concensus is that a buffet is not needed then i will be passing a glass round during the night to cover costs incurred by myself, however please note that any contributions are completely voluntary!!
There are a number of hotels locally and i will be compiling a list of these, however i know a few people from the original social thread have already booked up so if you're looking for a room for the night, you better be quick!! pm me if you require a list of these hotels.
So, the date for the diary is Saturday 5th May, time from approx 7pm so get your babysitters sorted and lets get wasted
