I'm afraid I am not going to be able to make the book club meet after all. sad

I am happy to let the post slide down the pages because I think we have a nice little crowd already and I don't like having to say 'No' to new arrivals.
But if anybody else who has already been in touch isn't sure about the the venue etc. please do PM me.

Following a rather wild idea of still coming during one of my more lunatic moments last week, I'm afraid that common sense has set in and rather than speed up the A11 at a late hour when most of you have already left, only to arrive far too late, I am giving this one a miss, in the hope that as Jezzay says, this is just a start for us East Anglian folks.

So I'm afraid that yourself and Norfolk BBW will just have to wait till another time to meet me. Have a great night you "nice little crowd" and I look forward to reading the reviews on here with gritted teeth and much jealousy.

It was lovely, Harry - see my post in The Cafe.
I was honestly disappointed at the no-shows but everybody who did turn up was - well, lovely! There will be another meeting. Maybe it will grow from here.
