I just did a quick search of places I used to stay. Hope that helps.
We stayed at Premier Lodge Sheffield recently. I think we got a discounted weekend rate for about Â£40 per night.
You'll find that a lot of hotels/lodges that cater for "business" types midweek have some decent weekend rate.

we are having a do back at ours and for those that wanna crash n p just bring an airbed bedding whatever

Well, search parties would have had nice time going various round parts of Europe (one part of which IÂ´m still in), but IÂ´ll be back in England in good time for the munch. Sorry to hear IÂ´ve missed so many biscuits Misschief, IÂ´ll soon be back to dip my toes in, new to all this, you know who you are...etc. By the way, what is a munch? LOLOLOL......
