Been away for a couple of hours and suddenly we have that many people coming to our hotel room, I fear myself and devil_in_part might not fit in and will have to sit in the car eating sandwiches instead.
Seriously though... people welcome to join us for (very) late lunch/early tea... you're more than welcome!!! (Although I aint treating you all!!!)

Just had a thought.... is there a dress code at the venue? Don't know if this has already been discussed but if there is then I'll have to rethink R's outfit (zombie with ripped shirt etc) Don't want to end up being turned being turned away at the door redface

If your wearing something quite revealing :shock: then you might want to cover it up until youve got through the bar,but if its just normal halloween stuff then it doesnt matter because its a private do.

Am I the only person who's actually riven with doubts about this whole thing?
I want to laugh and flirt and be percieved as a foxy dude( - if the latter that will be by any ladies who don't wear their contact lenses or specs for the evening!)but a mixture of factors,both connected and unconnected,are making me lose my nerve.
So if I make it be gentle with I don't make it have fun and apologies to Clare and Steve,it will be a close thing either way,sorry.

Hi FF, the build-up to this munch in the forum has been pretty terrifying, hasn't it. I console myself with the memories of the other munches I have been to, people turn out to be quite nice and normal (well, with a few exceptions) and are nervous themselves. I'm a distinctly unfoxy dude (or maybe non-dude), so you'll have some competition! No need to lose your nerve!

Absolutely not. And I know at least one person who has decided at the last minute it's not for them. Each time I leave my doorstep for something like this I hesitate and think 'Oh I'll just stay in and watch some ER reruns'. I've been to one Munch where everyone else seemed really confident and to know what they were doing. Then afterwards I read postings by people saying how seriously nervous they had been! So If I can get on that train in 3 hours so can you.
