N.West Couple seeking advice

Hi there,
Both myself and my partner are new to the swinging scene and would greatly appreciate any help or advice you could offer us.
We have placed an ad no 129964 and as yet we haven't received a single reply sad

Now while we didn't expect to crushed in the stampede, we had both hoped to have received a little bit of interest. Is there something wrong with our ad or is it simply a case of us needing to be a little bit more patient?
Any comments would be greatly appreciated

possibly but you need to be aware that anyone (I think) can look at the photo ads so maybe you might want to be cautious if you think someone close might stumble over your profile?

that was our thinking when we initially out the advert on, we don't want to meet picture collectors - just genuine people looking for the same as us.
In your opinion is it worthwhile speaking to people on this forum about possible meets, does that work?

Oh yes always worth speaking on the forum. However, don't limit yourself to this one - try the cafe forum as well, there's always lots of chat in there and you will become known much faster if you post regularly on there. Try getting to a munch if you can, they are a really good way to meet lots of like minded people on a social basis, then if you like anyone, you can always arrange a more private meeting afterwards.

Freckledbird is right - the best thing to do is just join in with the madness in the forum so that people get to know you and you get to know them. Before you know it you'll be going to your first Munch, and then there will be no stopping you!!!! :shock: confused

Thanks hornyred & dino and also oral man, I think I am going to spen a bit of time in the cafe. As yet we haven't had any responses, which is a little frustrating!!
It took me a good few months to persuade V to indulge in a bit of swinging and now when she has got a taste for it we can't find anyone to have fun with.

The ad was written in first person and third person perspectives, which did make it a little difficult to understand what you were after at first glance.
Maybe a slight rewrite would help.
From the point of view pof those looking at the ads, pictures do help to help distinguish if the ad is true or not.
Of course, if the ad had been seeking a male, then yoiu would have been inundated with replies.
