Right well after lots of sorting out on the date, for the day trip to alton towers i have finally come up with a date :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: .................................how does saturday September the 10th sound??

Saturday 10th September is fine for me and Steve but its a weekend I dont have my kids !
Can I suggest you start an Alton Towers thread coz I think it will get lost on here and its not just for the NW Posse is it ?

Heres a thought - we have been so engrossed with the bbq on Friday, and the Alton Towers jaunt, I completely forgot about bowling on Thursday. DOH! Where are we going this week then? And whose turn is it to win? More to the point, who is going? We are still up for it.

I agree Darling .................... but if you live in Notts .............. do u read the NW Posse thread every week ??? All I am saying is post it as " Alton Towers Day Out" and everyone will see it not just those of us in the NW Posse thread.

Right - Time for another ramble from me. The postings keep scrolling off the screen and I keep getting asked the same questions. Friday is BBQ night @ ours. Whatever the weather is, it will still be on as we have a gazeebo on the lawn, outdoor lighting, and a heat source. Format is just like the last one, that is, chuck some food and drink in a bag and bring it along. Bring as much as you like but don't go mad and try to feed everyone. Everyone tucks into whatever is available. Its totally informal and goes on for as long as it lasts. Eat, drink and be merry. As far as I am aware, the follwing people are definately coming. I will update this list as people confirm.

Ambulance has been booked for the male half of DJCabs !
Big fluffy cushion has been booked for me to fall on to !
boxing gloves have been booked for female half of DJCabs and NWRose !
And I will bring lots of water for PLC to drink ........... coz 2 pints of booze and he falls over !!!!
