Glorious sunshine in this part of Lancashire m8 ........ you're living in the wrong place.
If we're gonna do the Accrington party night bowling on the 28th then we need to think about booking the lanes. Details are:
Cost is per person and that includes:
2 games each
A meal from the fast food restaurant (burger and chips delivered to the lane)
Certificates for best/worst players
A prize pin for the winner (I think)
DJ, disco and party games
Minimum booking is 4 people to a lane and maximum booking is 6 people to a lane so we’re looking for between 8 and 12 people if we want to book two lanes.
I’ve been told that they’re a good night out so if we wanna book for the 28th July then the sooner we get the names together the better ....... and ....... there is a booking fee of £6 per person payable in advance because they have to pre-order the food.
Are we gonna give it a go?

Well - We already have the 6 dies hards which is enough to book one lane. If we can get at least one more couple we can book two. Im sure they will allow us to add to the lanes if we get any extras, our usual venue does cos we have done it before, and I cant see this being any different, after all it's all just cash to them.. Then after that its just a case of adding as we go. Im more than happy for you to book it. First come first served for everyone else.
Next q of course is how you deal with the pound notes side of things. I'll give you our deposit for it tonight if you want. The rest is up to you.

Dave, the bottles of real ale half way round were brilliant ....... I'm so glad you were carrying them round and not me though ............ they'd have been jetisoned before we reached the end of the first field if I'd have had that extra weight to lump round.

Next event is gonna be the weekly humiliation on a bowling lane. I still have several BOGOF tickets so its the usual venue next Thursday (21st July) for a cheap night out with loads of nonsense thrown in.
Any COUPLES out there that feel like they would like to join us, stick ur names in here and I will send you the details. Any singles that want to come, feel free to advertise in here for a partner of the opposite gender. We keep our events this way to ensure a 1:1 mix of males to females, so if you want to attend, start using the thread. We dont mind anybody posting in here, it's open, it's free, so go for it!
We had a fairly long discussion about new events yesterday. Alton Towers, Go-Karting, and a trip to Xtasia were topics covered. Watch this space is all I will say.
