Hi Venus I have only recently joined but thought this might be an ideal opportunity to meet up with lots of peeps in a fun environment ...so if there is room for a newbie i would love to come along.... i will just need a volunteer to rub in the peppermint cream to ease all my bruises....itsgray definitely a cheeky :rascal:

Sticking my nose in where I shouldn't probably but knowing the way some people put their names down for these things and then don't follow it through when it comes to the time I'd suggest that you base your head count on the number of deposits that have been paid.
I know it's a long time off yet but I'd suggest sending a pm to everyone asking them to pay the deposit as soon as possible. That way you can create two lists for your thread, 'deposits paid' and 'deposits outstanding'. It will give you a truer representation of those intending to go and it won't come as a surprise when half of them drop out the week before deadline date.

Ta Steve, yup, I'd considered 'secure' places meaning those which had paid deposits, the site certainly won't be reserving the place until they see 60 deposits, so if you think I should be sending the details out now I'll get my arse in gear! I was hoping 80 names down would give a realistic margin of error.....I bloody hope we don't have a 50% drop out :shock:
Hopefully I'll stay online long enough to get all the details out by the end of the week.
(BT hate me again :huh smile

Gem, I won't be cutting the list off until we hit 100, people can sign up as late as they wish, but if a week or two before-hand we have names who haven't been in touch, or paid their deposit, I will drop them from the list to make room for more reliable interest.

Phew, that was fun, just managed to post in the wrong forum!!! Never mind, here goes again although the joke is a bit stale second time round.
Took the point about new members, mines is 44 years old but still works, can I bring it along if I give it a polish?
Please put me down for a provisional, will confirm and deposit when my chaotic lifestyle subsides in to some order!!!
