Paintball! Booked in for 20th August.

Sorted! The venue will in Berkshire and I`ve made a provisional booking for 20th August, I`ve checked out the local accomodation and campsites for those who want to try to keep the costs down. There is room for 100 of us, so we can all ignore my cut off point of 40 members! The cost for the day is Â£35 pp which includes;
Hire of equipment
Lunch (Hog Roast)
Refreshments all day
300 paintballs
1 MK5 Thunderflash
Insurance
The day runs between 9am - pm
For those who pay the full balance a week before the event another 250 paintballs are offered and for those who are totally trigger-happy it`s only Â£5 for each 100 extra balls needed. One free place is offered for each 20 who sign up, hit 30 and we all get a free smoke grenade; 40 and we all get two free paint grenades! :bounce:
The guy I spoke to was very helpful, and more than happy for me to make a booking for us trigger-happy pervs. biggrin

No doubt he is checking out this thread right now, so if I have any details wrong, he has my number! :thumbup:
The deposit is only Â£10 pp, which can be paid to the venue direct. When members would like to make a direct booking then please PM me, and I will give you the details of the venue, but if you are to benefit from the deductions offered when you pay the balance, then you will need to let them know you are with the Swinging Heaven group.
As always, the exact details are not to be posted on the main board.

For God's sake don't tell Dawn_Mids I amended her diary thread...........I've only just noticed that people are supposed to pm her to do it.
She was threatening to wax my gonads in the chatroom last night and I hadn't even done anything. :shock:

Have you been paintballing before Steve? If not, then perhaps having your gonads waxed would be a good way to test your pain barrier before you commit yourself?! :mrgreen:

They cater for veggies (veggie burgers and salad).
Hagrid, you will be welcome to bring along your own equipment, but they will ask to check it over, just to ensure that it meets safety standards smile

Great news! The guy from the site contacted me, and he says if we can raise the numbers to 60+ he will be quite happy to close off the site to the general public and let us have it for the day! :bounce:
On another note. Although I am quite happy for any of the any SH members to sign up, in light of so many who post a couple of times and disappear, if we reach maximum numbers, and there is neither deposits or contact made by those who have signed up as we draw closer to the event, I will strike them off the list in order to make room for those who are showing a more reliable interest.

Ouch -hehehehe. Not too sure if you heard this - but couple of years ago when Painballing was kinda big, one of the companies in US of big A started to promote a Nude-PainBall for the executives.
They charged ..well lots, and for the priviledge, and I have to say mainly men, were chasing these rather naked ladies around the field with paintball guns. The guns didn't fire in aggresive mode - but nonetheless - I bet it hurt. :giveup:
