We are looking to get together with other likeminded reasonably attractive/slim couples late 30's early 40's.
We do have one problem - we wont post a pic - nothing to hide other than discretion.
We'll talk on the phone f-f, we'll be 100% honest, we'll do most of the travelling for a social meet and we wont ask to see a picture.
That said we know most couples will shy away. Single males however, in our experience, will take a chance and as a result that is where we have most of our experience. We have never had a single guy turn us down after a meeting. You might think that they never do - but we believe most have standards! (Might be wrong)
We are friendly, considered attractive and reasonably intelligent.
What should we do, are there other couples sharing our predicament?

I used to quite happily meet without seeing or sending pics, but I usually ask for them now. In my experience the majority of couples seeking couples do ask for pics at some point. Maybe you could send pics once you have knowledge that the other couple is genuine - after a phone call for instance? After all, if you're that close to meeting they're going to know what you look like soon enough anyway! You can always opt for sending pics with faces blurred or obscured.... surely that's not a problem for you?
If faces are obscured - then whats the point?
I do realise that it may seem unreasonable but it is a stipulation by (f) - no way would she want a picture of herself available on the net.
We have received pictures that look nothing like the sender when we meet or have had diiferent replies from different people using the same pics.
I respect that people have their own requirements - just wish someone would take a chance on us!!

But why should they? This trust has to go both ways. If your wife is so against her face in any pics, then I suggest you both get into the forums or the chat room and get to know people that way. Why not get an invite to a party or a Munch? Pics aren't required for them and you get to meet people face to face without any pressure.

Well, some people (including myself and Satin) ask to see body pics. We don't expect people to send face pics with their first email, though we do like to see a body pic early on. I do see your point and I wouldn't send a clear face pic of myself to anyone who I had not chatted to first, either on the forum or by phone. It really is a personal thing and people have different criteria.... but you are limiting yourselves and possibly misisng out on some good genuine meets if you refuse to send any pics at all

Munches are social gatherings for people to get to know each other. Have a look on the stickies at the top of this forum for the ones being planned at the mo. You will get an invite as long as the organiser of the munch is sure you're genuine.
