Next time I have a day off and I fancy doing some chin wagging with some people ... remind me to post it on here and see what interest it elicits...I am solvent, don't drink, can easily be the designated arsehole/wanker/shitebollockshead-spotter for the evening.. I am assuming that this forum can be used to make requests for just nice social evening outs with the other fine people on this forum etc etc...I'm fed up with going to wine bars alone, I get hit on by Uni freshers looking for their mrs. robinson... ffs....

Sneak off early when works not looking and it might get the hint that you don't want it to go home with you. Be prepared for some tough times though as it's harder than it sounds 'cos that work is a persistent little bugger. I've tried it a few times myself but it always manages to wangle its way in the door. :lol:

I am nice as pie, I am. Even when they insist on recounting their story about having to have their stomachs pumped after 2 pints of shandy during fresher's week. Hi Maia, I would be delighted if you would PM me any time you wanted a chat. We could even open up a virtual bottle of wine How are you getting on with "The Time Travellers Wife"? (if you'll pardon the expression) I couldn't put it down when I first got it. Half way through it just ran out of steam, and I gave up on it. I will give it another try in a week or two.
