The scene in Scotland is definately not dead. But you do have to be patient. I;ve been swinging for 4 or so years, and in my first year I had one meet. It takes time to establish yourself, learn the rules, etiquette etc. Then meeting people and if you're into dogging learning locations. I suspect this is the same throughout the country; and unless you live right next door to a well established dogging venue, you are unlikely to jump straight in and find "action". Keep trying, be polite and get involved in chat rooms.
