Scottish Munch.... 26th March" Tonight!!!!!

We are a couple that have been to munches and sex parties.
We would just like to say to the new people on here that the 2 really shouldn't be thought of as the same, they really are so different.
Munch - A party organised by swingers for swingers to meet each other, get to know each other and put names to faces. That is all it is really. Don't go along expecting sex as you most likely won't be getting any unless you "click" with someone there and make alternative arrangements for this.
Sex party - a party organised by swingers for swingers to have sex with each other, simple as.
The 2 should really not get mixed up as you are going to be so disappointed.
If you aren't interested in meeting people socially then you really shouldn't ask for a munch invite.

For those of you that aren't sure unless lucyweebaps says anything different the munch will be a munch. Even though some people might have a birthday at that time it won't be a birthday party unless Lucy says it is.

The munch is a munch........it's a social meet in a neutral environment for people to get the chance to meet people they wouldn't otherwise meet. Where on earth do you get the impression that people are gonna be disappointed if they don't end up in an orgy at the end of the night???
The best thing I can say to you is to wind it in and let the people that know what they're doing get on with it. You aint helping matters.

I've just read this and feel you have missed the point of a munch entirely !!!!! "A better chance of something than normal", refers to what exactly? You seem to be under an illusion that by turning up you're chances of having sex will be increased. I hate to burst your bubble, but this just isn't the case at all.
I go to a munch to meet with the people who i have spent time getting to know on the forum and in the chatrooms. I get to put faces to the names. I get to have a laugh face to face with the people i have been laughing with online. Sex, may or may not come into the equation, but it certainly is not the reason for my attending.
I have to say to that I admire Lucy immensely for taking on the task of organising this event. I'm sure it must be an incredible responsibility. Posts such as the one quoted, must only make the job so much harder, since you are quite clearly posting without any knowledge of what the essence of a munch is truly about.

Ok folks..We are going to have to draw a line here for the time being !!
As to single guys getting invites.. We need to try even it up with some single females and couples, I will keep a reserve list for any more single males wishing to attend, Just until it evens out a bit, Then I will be happy to start adding again...So please try to be a patient if your looking for an invite...

Hmm, dilemma. Should I book somewhere near the event so I can drink without a high taxi fare home? Would the cost of a room for the night be more than a cab ride home? Or should I lay off the alcohol and drive home?

It's entirely up to yourself Zootie, Why dont you ask someone to share with you? That way you go halfs on the hotel room And it means you get to relax and have a few drinks,without the worry of the drive home :P
