I have to get down somehow from Newcastle in the north east to Bournemouth on the south coast.....i do have family on the route so i may be able to stop along the way

What i am asking is for anyone who is interested in going for drinks anywhere to help me (didn't you know my rail pass would eventually come in handy! no place too far!!) and/or if i am lucky.. and god i would have to be lucky.... meeting some lovely people to possibly have fun with..... is that enough grovelling........:):):):):)
