SH trip to the Dark Side - Carnival of Souls Derby

Me & Mr Dark are going to this event and I thought bugger it, lets see if anyone else wants to come and make it a social! :mrgreen:
Sunday 25th March – Derby
It’s an all-dayer, 3pm til 2am so bear this in mind if you’re at work on the Monday morning lol

I can provide local hotel info for anyone who needs it though :thumbup:
soooo...if you fancy meeting up socially for drinkies/ lunch beforehand and going as a group to the event itself (with group discount if there's enough interest)…read on! Once inside, you are welcome to stay in the group or wander off and do your own thing. This is not a ‘swinging’ event,its a social & more an ‘SH day trip to the darkside’ wink

- its advertised elsewhere & publicly and there will be people from other sites there including swinging and the fetish/ BDSM scene. Drinkies/ meeting up beforehand and going as the 'SH clan' is however exclusive to people I either know or am familiar with or have contacted me via this thread :wink:
Carnival is an indoor Goth & Fetish event with live bands, stalls selling everything from floggers and fetish wear to artwork and Shibari rope, food, plus performances & a BDSM style playroom for those a little more daring than I am :giggle:
There is a dress code: absolutely no denim/ trainers/ chav/ leisure wear etc - but of course, all rubber/ pvc/ leather/ cyber/ goth/ uniform etc etc is welcome! This is your opportunity to play full-on dress up & chances are you will not get in without it! :bounce: :bounce: At the very least, black jeans, boots and black T shirts are required :wink: Absolutely no cameras as all pics are taken (with permission of course) by official photographers (including an SH site member, so if you want photos, just ask!).
PM me for the website address & more info - Tickets are £12 each (you can purchase tickets independently from the outlets or via me if there’s enough interest for a group discount).
Please note I am nothing to do with the Carnival of Souls organisation or event itself & this thread is for folk who might be thinking of attending & want to come along for pre-Carnival drinks with others they might be familiar with from here. The meeting place & further details will be given in PM only.

I know! and on a Sunday too! :scared:
a couple of folk are thinking of 'dropping in' en route back from the Munch...but I would say remember there's a £12 ticket price for Carnival itself which makes it a bloody expensive weekend if doing both - not to mention the stalls lol

but, if anyone does fancy stopping off for 'travel refreshments' and can time it right for social drinkies, let me know smile

Similarly, if you fancy a coffee/drink with us and are in the area but Carnival isnt your cup of tea, drop me a pm :)

Were not at the munch,the reason being my first grandchild is due mid march....and im a birthing partner :bounce: if he arives on time it could be possible smile

Well if last weekend is anything to go by,if we are free for this we might need sat nav or a search party redface

We found derby ok,we even drove thro it 3 times just to make sure,finding the assembly rooms wasnt so easy lol

As it stands, without confirmations at present, there's not enough folk going to qualify for the 10% group discount on tickets.... but for those who do want advance tickets, I'll be in Derby for work on Tues and will have chance to pick more up for those who want me to.
I can only front the money for people I know, sorry.
Let's just hope my boots arrive on time now! :scared:
