Minx I’ve supported you on this right from the start but now it seems the rules are changing. Couples can come provided they are not attached to each other and are prepared to play single as soon as they walk through the door? Does this now include couples who swing alone?

But if you or any other male believe Im changing rules, which Im not, everything said at start still stands, then it is your perogative not to attend.
This is a SOCIAL....NOT a sexual meeting.... There will be NO 'playing' at venue, it is a normal pub, it IS for SINGLE/UNMARRIED/UNNATTACHED/UNPARTNERED available people... who have the CHOICE to attend.

Minx, you're saying that anyone can bring along single females who are non-members, yet you only have space on the reserve list for the single male members who have asked after you decided that there are enough males. The number allowed by fire regulations is irrelevant, it's the principle (particularly as you haven't specified the number allowed in the room)involved. As has been said, if it's a social, what does it matter? You're discriminating against single males now, when it's a singles social.
You're quite right about it being acceptable for non-members to attend socials, but I've never seen one where members (possibly paying members now) have been turned down in favour of non-members. There would be an outcry of similar proportions if it were a mixed (couples/singles) social, I'm sure.
If I was one of the single males who have paid their membership and have been turned down just because of my gender, even though female non-members were still eligible, I'd be pretty annoyed.
With regard to your comment about the same people raising various points, have a look at Try2's last post. Even he's said the rules appear to be changing.

Yes, this is an open forum
Yes, people can comment as we see from looking in at it... but why are the comments that are printed ones that are saying 'Ive said this, or this' etc when I havent, its just they're INTERPRETATION of what Ive written. Why dont they say " Im unsure about this.. it sounds like this... Is this the case??"
to which Im happy to reply etc..
I always have done my best to explain and be fair to all but there seems always to be one just behind you waiting to say AHA!!, you mean this really dont ya! Look everybody, isn't Ms_minxie... whatever!
Why cant anyone just realise this is about fun for all, I will hardly have much Im working it!!
But I now have to go to work... as Im trying to give people a fun night at a karaoke, I didnt want to do but felt sorry for the new landlord who didnt no anyone in the area to book so was gonna have a dull night --- Im too bloody soft :lol:

personally, as a single female, i would not come to this event because the organiser has been nothing but rude, obnoxious and unable to take other opinions as anything other than that, throughout.
