socially meeting midleborough swingers

Hi, do any of you rude people from the boro or redcar areas ever meet up socially for drinks? It would be nice to meet people who do the same as us without feeling it's a sexual thing. We are new to the scene and there are so many questions we want to ask and things we need to find out and you can't really ask your mates, can you? What do other people think? :P

however the couple who started the thread were looking for SOCIAL meets not sex, which believe it or not is a big part of what this site is about!!! People who are blatantly using it as a SEX site will not find much going on in the NEast as the swinging COMMUNITY frowns on this, it tarnishes the image of what swinging is about.

I don't understand what you mean either. There are/have been loads and loads of SOCIAL evenings all over the country, including one in October in the NE, at which LOADS of people had a drink or two, a dance or two and a bite to eat. Just like trainspotters or football fans on a night out. Can't see any problem with them at all. By all accounts they are great fun and great friendships are made.

I know there has been some meets up in the north east - one arranged by your very own grooverider if I remember rightly. I work away a lot so might have missed some of them. Did know about Grooveriders but didn't post on it as I knew I would be away then. I didn't mean that i wasn't getting any 69position

off this site but just in general in the scene. It seems to be very hush in the north east as far as I'm aware which is what I was trying to say. Apologies if it came across wrong but don't shout at me - I'm only little :cry:

since my name has been mentioned i thought i would add my 2 penneth worth.....
yes i did arrange a munch and it went really well.....I have been taking to a few people online and we like the idea of newbie socials... where we have a couple of the older regulars there with a few of the new people....therefore giving people a better idea of what the site is like and all about...once the site has calmed down after the changes.....
if you want to arrange something yourselves then good for you and go for it.... if you need any advice then feel free to get in touch with me.....
if not then maybe i can arrange local ones for newcastle, durham,sunderland, darlington and middlesborough with help.....
ambitious aren't i.. lol

If you need a hand arranging anything fabio would love to lend a hand in whatever capacity we could be of service.
we missed the last NE munch :cry: , and as you say once the site has calmed, maybe something along the lines of a social would be good.
there has been lots of stuff about SH becoming a "sex site" recently and i have commented on this in a few threads today in the cafe, lets hope some newer members get what the site was originally all about!! wink

hi sexycpl22 think what your really asking is any cpls want to meet for a drink and maybe ask about the scene ,correct me if i am wrong,nowt wrong with that ,as fab said think it would be a good idea maybe a social for newbies even oldies yes a social ,a get together for peeps who dont read what the sites all about, not just the sex side but about meeting socially for some good crack for new ppl in the scene but dont know how to dip there feet,we went to the 1st north east munch and were really quiet not really knowing what to expect,well its a night out just a normal adult night not ppl naked lol so if theres a social night going count us in .

Go for it Sean - I'm also thinking of some possible ones in Leicester as we have a contingent here. Looking at a few places round here for maybe a pub meal for newbies with limited places for a couple of regs to just have a natter and a few drinks in a purely social setting.

And just to add we are also thinking for doing some in the north west for some of the newer members and a few of the regulars to answer any questions etc. Just need some volunteers from the regulars (couples or singles) and to get an idea of the potiential number of newer menbers who may be interested.

Weve been to both of Fabios munches and if he ever needs help with any organising Id be willing to help out, The idea of social meetings where newbies (god I hate that word) and older hands can meet is always a good thing.
