Just checked the forecast and looks like rain all weekend... recon it's because we aren't there this year. :thrilled:
Well at least I wont be getting my usual mids camp dodgy sunburn for everyone to take the piss out of :lol2:

Just come back from area with family and was dogging on the beach! Taking a labrador and spinger spaniel in the sea lol. Hope to make it down tomorrow. Be good ha ha. xx
Warming the Bed
Well it was dry and bright on Thursday evening when we arrived and set up our awning. It was dry and very hot on Sunday morning when we packed it back up again. There was just a small issue with about 10 hours of heavy rain on Friday and some seriously high winds and low cloud on Saturday.:eeek:
The glorious weather isnt the only thing that makes a fabulous weekend so despite the absence of sun for most of the weekend there was plenty of brilliant company, stacks to eat and drink and lots of fun and giggles. I hope you all get home safely.
Thanks must go to Dean for once again organising a great weekend away despite some seriously sad person trying to sabotage it.

Cheers Dean for organising yet another fantastic weekend.
Great fun was had by all and yet again, we're leaving with some funny and sexy memories.
Regarding the little skidmark(s) who tried to sabotage proceedings, think all are in agreement when we say your camps are great harmless fun and no matter that they take place on the site that they do. Think all are respectful of others as you ask and nice to see that Wendy wasn't bothered one little bit.
Find it even more amusing that despite said, Skidmarks, "strong feelings" on camp, still hadn't got the bottle to sign his/her/their letter - I wonder if they have the guts to fess up and apologise?
Anyway, off to pack it all away and out for a night of Burlesque to top off a great weekend.

It was lovely to see everybody - we had an amazing time and my cheeks still hurt!
The 'passing shower' might have tried it's best to damage a few tents but it certainly didn't stop everybody having lots of laughs
It's a shame somebody felt the need to try and spoil the weekend :twisted: ...it didn't :2fingers:
Looking forward to next year already...you never know...Optix might be able to go one year without buying a new tent!

What can i say.... as always a truly superb weekend... i enjoyed every moment if it... well maybe not the rain on the Friday.

and it was great to go home learning something new...... Playground wood Chippings are fire proof :-) totally dashed my Fiendish idea to keep the Camp fire going for another 10 mins or so.
and i know it has already been said by others... but for the person that sent to letter to the camp site... what did you think to get out of it? ruin the weekend of 70 or so users? was it out of spite for not going this year? well what ever it was... i can take pleasure in saying it never worked.... and just in case Wendy has joined the site..... please ignore the comment about the wood Chippings, and thank you for putting up with us all again.

Thank you all for making me and elne welcome on our first camp with the crowd.
We have made some good friends and look forward to next year, might even bring the bigger awning plus the annexe,giving extra room to those who had their tents ruined by the wet weather and wind.
And for Dean, "cider lil" asks for dearer cider next year lol

well...delivery of the sun was a couple of days late this year I fear !!! But hey let me tell you this lot oare made of stearner stuff. I would like to thank everyone for being such a good crowd, not moaning but instead makeing the most of the time. Hell we got wet...but there is no stoping everyone from haveing a good time. This year...dispite my best efforts to assist the ladies the MEN did come through and win the quiz !! Still 2 - 1 to to the ladies....but just goes to show I do run a no bias show here..lol lol
Now just a little aside, as has been mentioned before, a certain someone from this site, tried to spoil the camp. Two months ago ( the same time I put up the thread ) someone from this site, wrote to Wendy the owner of the campsite and told her we were all swingers..and directed her to the exact topic page on this site. Let me tell that person, that Wendy handed me over the letter in fits of giggles, said she always had her suspions and now she knows she will give us a discount to ensure we come back next year !! So let me just say....your attempt to sabotage, failed and indeed backfired. And to that person..let me say...yes...we have a damn good idea who you are..!!

Was great to see new and old faces again. I have been to every camp to date and the van is far more comfortable then flapping tents, so from now on its goodbye tent and hello van.
Brightbabe I turned up with 2 women, I wouldn't describe them as ladies as all they did was nag me for what seemed like the longest 4 hour journey to there....
It's a shame there are some sad people on here who spat their dummy out and felt the need to write a letter to the camp. Unlike you, we are adults and we know how to behave in public. We don't have the need to parade our bits in public or make groaning noises from our tents all day so others know what we are doing. It's called discretion and having consideration for others, something you seem to lack. You maybe big but you were not clever, these camps will continue so on your bike
