No, thats Cake. Gateau type cake.
Cakeybun implies 'bun' - hence cream scones/ iced buns/ muffin type things that come individually wrapped. Even donuts would class as Cakeybun..... but death by chocolate is Cake. :jagsatwork:
lol

I'm making coffee and walnut cake at the moment if thats any good :rascal:

Enjoy walnut cake as I do. And I do. It doesn't qualify as cakeybun.
I laughed last week when someone very kindly came to get me out of the house for an hour so we went for coffee and cakeybun.
She thought muffins counted ??????
I've never actually thought of how to explain the qualifications needed to be classed as cakeybun, but I suppose the simplest acid test is one of cream.
If said "cake" or "bun" can be nicely complimented with fresh double cream, or at a push - ice cream, then it qualifies as cakeybun
me? analyse? never rolleyes
lol
and cake with cream is a 'calorie overdose'. its not 'cakeybun' . Cake with cream is not a bun, therefore cannot be Cakeybun
Why did you not make this offer on 10th April when I was over that way on business??
I guess I have missed out lol
Well, as no one from Wigan was offering cake, biccies or coffee, I made my own drink, had a kitkat and half an hour snooze on the sofa wink
Wrong end of Wales for me hunni
