Just been having a quicklook through the club sites to see what's happening this New Year's Eve and got something of a shock. I know everywhere charges for party nights and one might expect it to be a bit dearer on New Years Eve, but Cupids in Swinton near Manchester seem to have won the prize for the most expensive night out that I've seen... The club site quotes prices of £60 for a couple, £90 for a member and £125 for a guest. Now it does include free alcohol all night and a buffet but wowzers that seems really expensive to me...............unless you know better. Maybe people would like to list down the prices of the clubs that they tend to frequent for this Saturday's New years Eve party and then we can all at a glance see who's charging what. And does anyone think Cupids price is reasonable. Happy New Year to one and all Mark
Im a realist, they will probably have enough couples attending that they dont need too many extra single males. Market sets the price. I know a couple who are attending Cupids NYE party and had considered joining them, I have not been to a club yet - at this price I will wait a little longer ;)
We had also considered going to Cupids at some point (not NYE I will add), but if they taking the mickey out of singles like that, think we will stick with Partners.
ClubF, near Durham, was normal Saturday admission, £20 for couples, with Buffet and mulled wine / punch. Great crowd and relativily near home for us. J & S
Luckily not many "single guys" want to go to a club on NYE as most spend it with thier wives .......... giggles We went to Atlantis and had a brilliant night at only £30 per couple (cpls n single fems only night, single fems was free entry) Adventures in Stoke only charged £20 as I understand it so there are value for money venues to be found even on NYE.
