This is a social 'event' for the members of this site and being a member of this site is a lot more than just registering a nickname. There are 7 weeks between now and the munch and unless I see positive contributions to the site between now and then you're wasting both my time and your own.

Never been to a munch before. Sounds a nice, friendly way of introducing ourselves and meeting like-minded people. Thanks for the opportunity. We are definately interested, as we live in North Wales.

I've sent some hotel details to everyone, please check your pm's.
From the feedback that Vicky_uk and myself have been getting the hotels seem to be pretty busy that night for some reason. If you're looking to book a room I would recommend that you book it as soon as possible. You can always cancel it if you have a change of plans.

well after missing the cov munch, and being forced to listen at great length how damn good it was, and what a great nite everyone had etc etc i'd better make sure i go to this one i reckon! ;-)

do the munches usually go on till late?not sure wether we would be able to stay over night or just drive back after the more we read about it sounds a good way to get to meet some guys off here.

The meet will be in a pub and the pub will be keeping normal licencing hours. wink

Some people may go on to a club afterwards but that's not part of the munch. You can arrive or leave at whatever time you like really. It's entirely up to you.

I haven't heard anything from you yet about munch details, yet I heard from someone in the chatroom that a certain hotel in Manchester which many munchers stayed at last time is already fully booked for the date. Is there anything you can tell us yet? (Via PMs if necessary).

The hotels in the area do seem pretty busy that night but I don't know why. Several people have booked rooms without problem but others have had to shop around.

Thanks for the PM with details, Steve. I suspect that one of the reasons why so many Manchester hotels are getting booked up that weekend is that we have a rival, though inferior, attraction in the city: Man U v Chelsea.
