A few more people have let me know their plans recently and the figures are firming up a bit. They now stand at 107 confirmed and 25 possibles. Still two weeks to go yet though.

If you're chatroom regulars then you need to let me know who you are and tell me your nickname. A lot of chatroom regulars don't use the forum (some don't even know it exists) so I can understand this being their first post.
The people that are just registering with the site and expecting me to send the details aren't going to get them. I keep repeating myself on this. The munch is only for active users of the site and the details will only be sent out to the people we know and feel comfortable to invite. If someone can vouch for you then fine but if not then you're gonna have to make yourselves known because otherwise it isn't gonna happen.

Hi steve ,I sent you a e-mail saying I'd like to come. This is my first post on the forums though I've been chatting most days in the chat room using the same name Gary_68010 . I can understand you wanting to make sure the right kind of people come to the NW Munch.
Though I haven't met anyone whom may vouch for me on this site I hope theirs some regulars that know me from the chat room and can vouch that I treat fellow chatters with respect and courtesy.

Hi everyone
The Munch is getting really close now, so I’m in constant contact with The Owners of the Venue.
Apart from ourselves there will be a small party of people in the Pub celebrating a 23rd Birthday
What the Owners would like to do is close the pub at 5 clean it ready for us and set out the back room with tables chairs Buffet etc.
Re-open at 6 ready for our arrival from 7. Steve and myself will be going early to be able to meet and greet you as you arrive. They would then like to close the Doors at about 9 so apart from us coming and going no one else will get in.
They are putting 2 men on the door to ensure that only people who are attending either the Birthday Party or our Munch are allowed in. They are also bringing in extra bar staff and a DJ to man the karaoke/music.
I’ve spoken to Steveg and we both feel that the owners are putting a lot of effort into making sure the NW Munch is a success
As a gesture on our part to help with the extra costs they are incurring we have decided to hold a collection. There will be a bucket near the door and at some stage during the evening we’ll probably pass it round to collect some loose change. It doesn’t have to be much and it will be totally voluntary but we feel it would be a nice gesture to acknowledge all the hard work they are putting in to make us feel welcome and to ensure that we have a good night.

If anyone is still having problems finding a Hotel there is a pub very close to the Munch that has 2 rooms available that night pm me for details.
Ive had a quick look. the rooms look clean and your given a key to a back door behind the pub to get in late.
