Thanks to everyone who has replied so far, I just want to clarify a few points.
While we welcome new folk to the party, this is a social for the old, tattered, battle scarred regulars of the BBW Room. As such it is only fair and right that the regs in the room are given every chance to come to the party. An increasing number of folk, whose names most of the room regs do not recognise, are asking for places at the party and unfortunately demand is such that we are not going to be able to allocate them a place immediately. It is not that we do not want you to come to the party, rather that we intended the party for the people that we do know and think it is a little unfair if they miss out, so a stranger can attend. I hope people can understand this. When Char said its first come first served, she did mean for those who are regs in the room, as we are all notoriously slow and fickle and take an age to do anything at all... ;-)
As such I will now start a reserve list of people who do want to come but who are not room regulars. If spaces become available over the next month or so I will contact you about whether you would like to attend, in order of the people on the list. However please be aware, there are still a fair few room regs who have not yet got their name down because they need to check one or two items, so places are going to be pretty scarce I feel. I do hope however that all the new folk who want to attend get the chance to.
By the way, this applies to couples AND single females as well as single males, its just at the moment it is mainly single fellas whose names we don't recognise. Charandy and I will be going through the list later today (Monday) and also reviewing those who have asked to join it since I last edited it. We are well aware that maybe we do not know some people, but other room regs may be able to confirm that you do pop into the room regularly, in which case we will endeavour to find that out so we can add you to the list.
I don't mean to sound all Herr Flick of the Gestapo and I hope everyone can recognise that I am just trying to be fair to all the regs of the room, while understanding that other folks may want to come too. Now show me ze picture of ze fallen madonna mit der big boobies...
I will be sending another mailing out to folk later tonight probably as I made a teensy weensy error on the last one... so watch out for that. I will also contact all those not added to the list personally to let them know the situation.
Thanks once again to Jags for helping me sort this out... and if anyone wants to help one of the mods do their Pre Xmas cleaning please contact me. French Maids outfit and feather dusters are optional so I am informed. (Don't worry if you don't understand this... those that need to will...)
