Where is Vanilla?
What's the drill with swingers party's such as this? Jo is concerned people will be too pushy! or worse just feel thay they can just touch her? Is it a couples only night? I think Love2Bump you mentioned that its basically a regular night club for the first few hours, then you can go through to another room for naughties if you want too? So I guess if we went we could have one of our regular nights out and if we didnt feel comfortable we could just stay in nightclub room? Or leave!

At VA the social area's are very much separate from the play area's. If you don't fancy playing or find anyone you fancy playing with then you can stay in the social area's.
If you do decide to go in the play area's even if you only wish to play with each other then that's cool to. Saturday nights are couples only and we have found everyone to be very friendly and polite. Mrs P has never been touched in-appropriately without that person being invited to.
For us the first time we went we weren't sure either and we were pretty nervous to, however we really had such a great night we love the clubs on couples nights now.
The social area's at VA the only real difference is maybe that some of the girls are dressed more sexily than normal clubs, tho nowadays even that is debatable!
Just go guys you won't regret it. We can almost garauntee there will be others there that feel exactly the same as you.
Some people will claim various clubs can be cliquey but it really is a case of 'you get out what you put in'. Our advice is if you want to chat to people and have a laugh then do just that... Chat to people.
You will see a few couples that do great impressions of wall flowers. If you want that then all is well but some will say 'no one spoke to us'. However how do they know that you want to interact and not just watch as some do.

Well we must admit we just went online and checked this club out and I dont know what we expected, but we were pleasently suprised! Looks like a very classsy venue and between the site and you guys we feel like we are ready to give it a try, babysitter permitting! Very Excited doesnt come close :-)

the only way to find out is to go along and see for yourself as we did, we were nervous at first when we went to liberty elites but as soon as we hit the jacuzzi, the nerves dissapeared. no one is pushy at all they are there to have a great time. few drinks at the bar and you will will be well away

Most wear lingerie in one form or another.
Or nothing if they choose to go in the jacuzzi, it can be easier just to wrap a towel round while going to a play area afterwards.

Counting down the days until we can go again--been 4 times and we're always first in the jacuzzi as i like to get a couple of lengths in....fnar fnar :twisted:
We've been to Libs many a time, but VAs is now closer, although it's easily missed if you're not paying attention to the road...
Two things we found and these are our opinions:
1) once they started enforcing the closing of the upstairs rooms off at Libs we stopped going--we hate queuing and saw it as a bit selfish hogging an entire room--it would only take 4 couples to effectively close off half the venue! We know the reasons, whys and wherefores but if we wanted privacy we'd have gone back to the hotel....
2) conversely, on the times we've been, VA appears to have less of a quiet, touchy feely atmoshphere. By this we mean we don't necessarily like to socialise beforehand, but we do like wordless flesh on flesh action which because of the "upstairs orgy room" (as we called it at LIbs--basically two beds together), it felt more like a hedonistic roman orgy--something we always preferred. Unfortunately we've found that VA is a bit more segregated, and unless ypou actually talk to people before hand wordless invitations are a bit thin on the ground....
We like the accidental touching, the wandering hands, the strategic manouvering--that's just how we like it! However we 've found we end up playing a lot more by ourselves at VA than we ever did at Libs
But in saying that we can't wait to go back, just have to get stocktakes and training courses out the way first...

The thought we had regarding the wordless intimacy would be very easy to implement.
Essentially they just do as that place down near Heathrow and have little wooden, reversible hanging signs in the smaller areas--one side says "please join us" the other side says "could you leave us alone for 5 minutes ;) ". We'd love that :)
The larger open plan areas, particularly opposite the jacuzzi, can feel quite fenced off with couples not going anywhere near each other--perhaps we'll try a different area next time

Just a quick update went to VA had a ball the club was clean, staff were wonderfull.
We stay over for the night in the hotel, room was clean and warm.
Defo be going again.
Sorry we did not get round to seeing the lady in blue maybe another time :lickface:
