white water rafting....

i know its probably not my place to suggest such things, but with a couple of people mentioning it as one of the things they would like to try, i was wondering if people on here did days out?
i know a place, pretty central uk where i could organise for a day/ 1/2 days white water rafting. Its probably a bit cold now, so it would have to be a few months into next year maybe.
would anyone be interested?
would one of the mods want to adopt the idea, and ill pass on the details so they can make it more offical than little old me?

Id be interested.
Maybe a Mod could move this into LMU and we could get some more people together, going with people we know from SH would be much better than strangers.

Probably something worth bringing up in the New year when you can organise it in your own right. Hopefully by then you will have gotten yourself known on here and it will be a good day out.

the place im thinking of has quite a large campsite attached, hotels are a little further afield.
do people mind camping? or would they prefer the privacy of a hotel?

I done white water rafting last year. it was a real buzz but very sore the next day. defo do it again. maybe next time I'll spend more time in the boat. :shock:
