Hi Jane and Ian, very sorry but the list is now full. I will put you on the reserve list and if we get a cancellation, I will let you know.
Philk, there will not doubt be many other munches with a decent travelling distance. Keep using the forums and get yourself known a little, and then get your name down for one of the others.

Aww, thanks hun, but at least we know the Munch seems to be popular! Anyway we are all guilty of not reading all the posts (especially me) and we just pick up on the bits we want to see, but thanks for the kind thoughts lol

Look do people think that they can get an invite to this spectacular event when they are obveously incapable of reading the full ten pages of messages regarding who is eligable to attend plus the list is now full :fuckinghell:

Sorry Icecool but as it says in the post directly above yours and as Trainmanone has said, the list is full and I already have a long reserve list. The munch was only open to regulars on the forum or in the chat room who joined before the 31st January 2005.
Just to let you all know, I am trying to find another venue for this, as I have now got approx 70 definates and 16 on the reserve list. I am going to see if I can find a larger room near to the original venue and if I can I will open the list again after adding the reserves. So if any of your Wigganers have any ideas of a free venue, big enough for about 100, please pm me.
Trainmanone I hope you were joking when you threatened to play Des O'Connor all night if you didnt get a room mate lol

Well I was thinking of that big football stadium on the outskirts of Manchester but then it wouldnt be a Wigan Munch so I decided not to bother. Also not sure about the shade of red they wear, clashes with my eyes!
I have got two places to try so going to phone them now, let you know how it goes but keep thinking! Somehow, I dont think any of the above venues will have us sad

Hi everyone i'm new hear but would like to meet up for a munch, i can see i need to be a forum member for a while before i get an invite, which is fine, i can imagine the people that must just join and expect to get an invite at the drop of a hat.
Anyway my names Karl Jenkins lived in the manchester area for a few years, am very into new things, but most of all. Meeting and makin new friends mainly in swinging circules.
Since this is my first post i'd like to say hi to everybody, especially the people in manchester.. i have also recently got into the whole MSN messenger thing, its very good. lol

Right, I have managed to find an alternative venue which will hold more people, so the ones on the reserve list are now on the attending list.
If you have booked an hotel, please can you pm me and I will let you know the approx distance from where you are staying to where the new venue is.
I will also post an updated list later today, but gotta go now and pay the deposit before someone else gets the room lol

And Karl, welcome to the mad house, hope you stay around long enough to attend one of the munches. Good luck and hope you have fun!

I have added the people who were on the reserve list and will be opening the list up for some more names. The same rules apply, must have been a member of the forum or the chat room prior to 31st January 2005.
I have had to pay damage waiver insurance for the room which I will get back on the night. I will send out the 'rules' with the invites but can I ask you all to please stick to the rules, the main one's being room must be vacated by 12 midnight and you must not take own booze.
