Will the forum be better than the ads?!

Hi all,
I've been using the site for a long time, almost 3 years. In that time I've managed 3 meets, they were all arranged through the chatroom. Now that chat is a lot more established its kind of hard to get into the 'community', there seems to be a hardcore of folk who regularly meet up etc and use chat, so not much joy there. Also the fact that there very rarely seems to be anybody local to me in chat, so thats another minus point! sad

As for the ads section....well I get lots of replies, all saying I should go join such and such a 'pay site' to continue any correspondence, in other words most of the ads are just other sites phishing for punters. But no doubt most know this already!
So lets try the forum for a change! cool

I'm a 36 yr old straight male in south Oxfordshire looking for fun. May possibly be interested in couples, but gently does it!!!! I don't usually travel, but if its local can be persuaded, but I can accomodate.
If anybody in the area may possibly be interested in finding out more about what I may be able to offer feel free to drop me a pm.

The forum's the place. But not for adverts. It's about conversation and questions and debates and fallings-out and get-togethers and eventually parties so I am sure you could be succesful.
But for what you are and not what you advertise. Relax and enjoy.

If you ask people who mostly use the Ads system, they'd perhaps tell you no.
If you ask people who mostly use the chatroom they'd perhaps tell you no, the chatroom is the way to go.
I use the forum, the answer is none of the above, the forum approach is the best. :mrgreen:

Fair enough, tho i am a little confused as this is called 'lets meet up' and is supposed to be a forum for arranging to meet up with people.
I guess I'm not suited to the way all this works. just the way this cookie crumbles!! wink

Well we'll see how I get on with my what I'm told is seemingly unorthodox approach (Not being a great socialiser as far as munches go, but wanting to meet up with people on a more personal level, 1 to 1, or 1 to 3!!) :P

You mean that you don't want to be bothered to get to know anyone cos you just want a quick shag?
If that's not the case, that's how it certainly comes across

maybe if you link an ad to your posts people can look at who they are talking to, you may find someone will talk to you via PM.
