ok, we have had two sugestions for the theme of this event, so lets take a vote.

wincy, last time we all went communal :giggle: A kitty was set up and some of us girlies went on the rampage to feed the hungry mouths..........bonus was chilli was also had ! Couldn't make me mind up, what I should eat and had a taste of all redface
As for pegs rolleyes I recall the ground wasn't too bad, but I owe Petey some pegs.
Got a bit heavy handed with :roll: he ol hammer

Right then, to business :jagsatwork:
Firstly could any of you who have booked in with the site chuck me a quick pm and let me know, ta :thumbup:
Camp logistics:
I will be bringing the large frame tent again to use as field kitchen and store house, I don't have a ground sheet for it though so if anyone has a spare it will help to keep stuff from getting damp.
I will also be bringing a 2 ring camping cooker which has a small grill for toast etc and the big bbq for communal use and the communal bbq which I thought we could have on Saturday night if everyone agrees but more on that later.
I am hoping that Winey is still on for bringing the fire pit and chilly and RPM the spicy chicken. :rascal:
What we need are logs, and plenty of them, i have quite a bit of cordwood here but unfortunately my saw is kaput so unless someone has a small chainsaw they can bring it won't do us much good. So if anyone fancies picking up a bag of logs along the way please do. One word of warning though, make sure they are seasoned, we had a hell of a job with some unseasoned wood the last time :whistle:
Someone mentioned Gazebos, great idea :thumbup:, the more we can get the better, string em all together and it'll give us a communal sitting, eating drinkies place, even if it doesn’t rain, the dew is quite heavy this time of year.
I suggest everyone brings wellies or boots just in case and i would suggest water proof macs rather than brollies as brollies seem to have a habit of turning inside out around here (it can get quite windy, especially if Stormy gets on the beans again rolleyes )

My suggestion would be that we all do our own for the most part but have a whip round and send the giggling girls of to the supermarket (god help em) to get supplies for a communal BBQ on Saturday evening. Open to suggestions on this, let me know what you all think.
I have no way of providing music, so if anyone has a disky playing thingy that runs on batts or an ipod with speakers feel free to bring it. My music collection is virtually non existent so feel free to bring some sounds, that way we'll have a good selection that caters for all tastes. If there are any budding musicians among you, feel free to bring your instrument :shock: and we'll have a sing song, no comments from you lot about my last contribution thank you redface
well i guess that’s about it, I will be on site hopefully mid to late afternoon on Friday as i have quite a bit to do in the morning, if you arrive on site before i get there, just drive down to the house and the guys there will sort you out.

Pete- we're bringing a two burner as well, so it'll help with the morning coffes/butties to have two on the go. Will bring a large kettle too.

I also have a copy of "pirates".....the adult movie. If anyone thinks it might be a giggle to put this on- let me know. Especially if they have a twin screen portable player- someone (thanks mr W) fried the battery on ours.
