xanadu s friday night
went there with my partner a couple of friday nights ago, mainly single guys perhaps 3 couples and 4 or 5 pole dancers, Dont know what sat nights are like but the couples seemed to keep themseleves to themselves and the lads just watched the pole dancers .... enjoy your visit everyone seems really nice in there

We used to go to Xanadus regularly but we now find it full of young lads thesedays.
The staff and management are a miserable lot too.
It's a real shame because Xanadus could be such a great place for swingers.
We go to Passion in Blackpool sometimes and the people who own it (one of them used to own Xanadus a few years ago) have the right idea of how to run a swingers club.
We learnt earlier this year that Bookbinders in Manchester attracts a few swingers. We've been a few times recently and always have a great time there.

No offence but if they stopped getting paid girls in there then maybe the lads wouldn't think that all the women that go in there are paid to be there for thier pleasure alone. 
I went a bit ago and swore I'd never go back unless there was a change of ownership or I was absolutely desperate.
The place is dark, dingy, smelly and the lockers...... half of them don't work , quater dont have keys.

We have just come back from a very brief visit for the first time to Xanadus. Got in just dead on 10 and for free as it is before 10 for couples during the week. Within a minute of getting in and the owner telling us there werent many in apart from paid lap dancers we knew we didnt want to be there. After a brief tour by the owner it didnt make us feel any the better about the place. It felt dingy and seedy and made me feel dirty just being there. Was extremely uncomfortable being in there and even though saw a couple of faces from other clubs we knew , didnt make us want to stay or even contemplate playing under any cirumstances. We definately wont be going back there even at a weekend if the place was full of other swingers. It completely put us off and we dont even consider this to be a swingers club by any means!

We went to Xanandu's on Saturday and had the best night ever. There were a handful of single men but the couples out numbered them. We found the staff pleasant and helpful as always. We have been a few times now and never failed to have a good time. Its not a posh place , no , but it is friendly and we didn't find it seedy at all. Each to there own as they say.

I'm at a loose end in Manchester this Sunday but I'll stay loose if it Xan's is the only choice, based on what's been said here. Doesn't sound much fun either as a lap dancing venue or a swingers' club. Hope it improves as it's got a good location.
