hiya....looking to go out Sat are quite local to both so cant decide where to go.
We have been to Xstasia before and liked it because u can drink there,to get rid of the nerves,and it was quite dark so we could hide away in the corners and just look really as we r very new to all was also a SDC night so it was really busy.
This week it isnt a SDC night so dont think it will be that busy.
We are a bit unsure about going to Chams as it seems to be a completely different think it might be a bit "full on" for more of a sauna place than a club isnt it,plus we have to get into towels etc as soon as we get there.
Is chams ok for newbies?
might sound a bit daft but just looking for advice guys and gals

Both Clubs are very different in many ways. A lot have the miscomception that you have to wear towels at chams whereas the dress codes are (yes towels), shorts or boxers for the guys and sexy lingerie or sexy dress for the ladies. Although chams hasn't got a drinks licence you are welcome to take moderate amounts of alcohol with you. The lighting is subdued. It's a relaxed non pressured enviroment that caters for all levels of swinging experience. Xtasia is more of a nightclub based swinging club but also has its plus points with its licenced bar and dance floor.
Both offer plenty of relaxed adult fun with friendly welcoming members. Both are couples only on Saturday nights so no worries about single guys maybe making you feel uneasy as you're still pretty new to the scene.
We've enjoy both clubs but visit them for different reasons as do many other members on SH.
If it's not an party night at xtasia's it may be relatively quiet compared to chams which is always well attended on couples only nights.
Maybe the best way to make an informed choice is read through some of the reveiws on here and decide from there as everyone has differing veiws on what they want from a club.
Either way hope you have a good night out which ever one you choose to visit

Just putting in my twopennies worth.
Chams is in my opinion more a place to play than Xtasia. As you know Xtasia is very much the night club with swinging places attached where as there is less nightclub at Chams. Annie is spot on in saying that it depends what you want form the night out. If you fancy a boogie and a drink then Xstasia fits the bill and if you fancy going further then it is possible there. If you actually fancy playing then I would say Chams is the place to go. Personally I find the atmosphere at chams much more conducive to playing / watching.
As regards the towels debate –it’s not mandatory to just wear a towel – some blokes wear underwear/shorts (small minority) but the ladies tend to wear ‘sexy’ rather than just a towel. It is fine for newbies! – Generally it’s important to decide before you start what you want form the evening how far your wanting to go etc… but I am sure a couple will give much better advice than I – being merely a single guy !
You could always give it a go and if your reasonably early and it really doesn’t appeal there is always time to pop down to Xtasia !
