Turning off the M5 at Junction 1, take the exit signposted West Bromwich Town Centre. After 3/4 mile you will come to some traffic lights, go straight over these. Take the next left into George Street, travel 150 yards down the road and turn right into a Private Car Park, where John will direct you to secure parking for the evening. I parked in the pay and display carpark in George Street that is under the control of Sandwell Council. After 6pm its free. When I started to walk to the club, I was told that it was 'owned by the conference centre' and I would get clamped. So I moved to the above mentioned carpark and paid my £1. I read the large 'T&Cs' sign in the carpark, and have also since checked the Sandwell Council website. Neither of these mention anything about clamping or the conference centre. I will phone Sandwell Council on Monday to confirm that free parking is actually available in the evenings.
The pound is irrelevant, it's just a matter of principles. :neutral:
That aside, the changes in the club look very promising. One of my dislikes of the previous club layout was any flat surface had a sign bolted to it saying what could or could not be done there. Most of these have now been removed :thumbup: The wattage of the lightbulbs have been increased, so you can actually see whats around you now. Another big :thumbup:
The changes in what was the couples room. big :thumbup: I didn't actually notice the ceiling mirrors until they were pointed out to me. Not sure if they were in every room, or not. But should I venture into a room and want some privacy, I would certainly now look upwards.
Not sure about the grope box being out in the smoking area. :-? I'm not a smoker, and can only hold my breath for a couple of minutes. (even less if actually inside the box lol

)
Overall, a definate improvement on before, and look forward to going again soon....

OK so here's how it lies........
The 7th of December is available
The 14th of December is booked up
The 21st of December is available
I don't think the 7th will be any good as the cov social is on the 8th.
I don't know about the 21st dunno

.... is it to close to Christmas for people?
I think what I'll do is post one up (Provisionally) for the 21st December,
and see what response there is, if there is around the same number of people as at the
one yesterday, I'll go ahead with it.
So start adding your names to the new one so i can get an idea of numbers asap (link below)

Another fab night, best one yet I'd say! So good we went back on Saturday for seconds (or to apologise, not sure which!) lol

We're happy to do 21st December, but i'm sure we'll be back waaaay before then!!
