Anyone got one of the kettle's that only boils/pours 1 cup of water at a time instantly?
Was looking at 1 in currys and looks quite good.

ooo yes i'd like to know if they r any good too i like the idea of them
great for instant coffee, not quite hot enough to make a decent cup of tea,we have to put in the microwave for 30 you`d think they are economical but the filters dont last long and they`re expensive buggers.

Why dont you just put less water in your kettle? dunno

i was more interested in the instant bit but for the sake of waiting a min for it to boil rather than replacing exphensive filters i'll just b patient lol
My mate has one.
It's expensive.
Not that instant since it pours really really slowly (while it heats the water).
If you want 3 cups the first one is cooling while you pour the third.
It uses more electricity - especially if you get one woth all the fancy extra lights.
Otherwise they're great. biggrin:D:D

Better that than prick-stick.
I got one as I can't lift a full kettle and I find it very useful.
However, I only ever make one cup at a time, but I can understand the comment about making several cups together, when a recipe calls for more than a 1/2 a pint of boiling water it seems to take ages.
filters last about two months and cost about £4 so not too bad.
I think there might be a user review video for it online by a couple of ladies.
not sure where it is but if you google '2 girls 1 cup' you should be able to find something wink

 you is bad rotflmao
I havent seen them but two things spring to mind.
Why do they need filters?
They should be incredibly economical because you can only get 3kw out of a plug socket.
