I've reached the 1000 post milestone here so I thought I'd give it the the customary mention. There has been a recent thread on significant post counts but I think I am safe in taking stock at this point. 1000 posts is a good place to take time to reflect on ones experiences of being a member of this site. On this subject I would like to point out that actual postings only represent the tip of the ice-berg. Beneath that I've personally exchanged shed loads of lengthy PMs and shared countless conversations all of which represent thousands of hours I've put into being here. All thoroughly enjoyable though and a lot of fun!
I've been on this site almost exactly six months now and it's been quite an experience. I've met some truly great people many of which have become personal friends. I've met individuals privatley, visited clubs and been to some outstanding parties. There have been ups and downs but all in all it has been a blast!
Being an active member of SH has allowed me to connect with others in ways I would not be able to do otherwise. I consider SH offers the opportunity for personal exploration and I take this approach. It allows us to express and experience life in a unique way. I have opened up to others in ways I thought I would never be able to do and have redefined how I see myself. As Judy said at the Notts munch, "You've come on quite a bit, haven't you?" Indeed I have, in more ways than I care to mention. I wish to thank those who have helped me, given encouragement or said kind words. I am also grateful to all those I've spent time with or had some fun. You are all very special to me and I look forward to seeing you all again in the near future.

I remember when we used to have time to pm and you write so beautifully . You have come a long way my friend in more ways than I bet even you expected from this site. You are very talented and have the gift to make words spring out from the page. One day we will go to a gig in fact think you should organise a SH gig outing!!!!! I have had fun meeting you in real life a number of times now and you have put up with me bullying you and giving you naff advice
