I have just noticed that my first Birthday passed last week. As a frequent observer and occasional contributor I smile and enjoy.
Here are one or two observations in my personal Review of the Year!!
The record number of people logged on at one time has doubled.
The average number of "women wanting men" ads has halved.
I miss sappho and fred and wilma and the SH WI
I have been pleased to see that the advice about being patient and waiting for responses to my ad was spot on...
I have realised that replying to other peoples ads seems fruitless
I have seen the evolution of the avatar from interesting designs to very sexy pics that sometimes do very clever things
Had one telling off only from a mod (..and it was totally unwarranted!!)
I am pleased to have met one of the special ladies from the forum.
I can one day say ....I lived through the verification thread!
I am really rather a naughty boy!

I share your opinion of the changing trend in avatars.
I don't think I have told off by a mod - yet.
Unlike you I haven't had any success with the "special ladies".
