35mm film development

Okay, I'll ask this question on behalf of a somewhat shy friend.
Is there a simple way to get a 35mm film processed? The shots don't show penetration - just a semi naked woman (no gental shots) and an erect penis. My advice was to take the film into a sex shop as many of them run a processing service, but my friend says there are no such shops in his area....
So does anyone know of a good postal service?
Cheers

I'm not sure that what you describe is on that film isn't something that your local friendly Boots would develop!! As long as there are no children, animals or any other illegal act being captured then, if you speak to the developer, there shouldn't be a problem - though the pics may be the talk of the dark room!!
Maybe your shy friend could travel to a neighbouring large city and hang around long enough for the 1 hour service and then scarper. Or, find someone who does their own developing.
Hope this helps, not sure it does but it could be worth a try ringing up places first and explaining the 'personal nature' of the contents.

hi heather,
getting 35mm films developed by the numerous businesses that do this on a commercial basis is easy, provided the film is of a none sexual matter. however, once the film contains matter of a sexual nature, each company seems to have its own rules. rolleyes in the majority of instances with explicit pictures, the negatives are returned with apparently no picture on them. these are inevitably treated in some way to make it appear that an error has been made by the photographer and no picture was taken.
this keeps these commercial companies safe from possible prosecution.
having developement done by other sources can lead to problems. these include, unauthorised copies being made of your prints for either the use of the developer, or by him for circulation in certain magazines etc. in other words, once you let the film out of your possession you have no control of it, and that can be dodgy sad
i am sure i'm showing my granny how to suck eggs here, but by far the best way of taking pictures is by digital camera that you can download into your computer. that way no other person is involved, and you have total control over how many copies are printed, and who has access to them. biggrin it is common practice for swingers to exchange pictures which is always a help in setting up meetings, but it should be remembered that once a picture is sent to anyone, you have lost control over what happens to it forever. :taz:
it looks as if your friends pics are are possibly borderline for having them developed by a commercial company. if he/she wants to risk it, thats up to him/her but the negatives may come back spoilt.

life is short, enjoy it whilst you can.
Max Speilman are very open-minded wink . Before I got my digi cam I used to get photos developed by them and have never had any problems - I've sent in things like threesome pics (two girls and a bloke behind - use your imagination, guys! 8) ), although these weren't graphic. They'll print hard ons, and the like...I don't think your friend will have a problem, apart from a few chuckles from the staff! redface I'm sure they take extra pics too, for their own use - if anyone sees me and my friends in Fiesta or some other mag of that nature, it wasn't me that sent them, it was Max!
Are you reading all of this, 'You Know Who'?
wink
Smile if you had me last night...

 biggrin
