It really is a shame that he didnt succeed isnt it? But it is traditional to celebrate the fifth just like our American cousins celebrate July the fourth. I'll not have a bonfire tonight, just a chmnea on my verander to keep the kids warm while I set off the fireworks down in the garden.
Please can you all remember safety proceedures, and take care of your cats and dogs as the noise really frightens them.

I'll probably spend the evening trying to calm the kitten down but the old cat will as, usual, be sat in the garden watching the pretty fireworks
