Roll on this afternoon.
I'm wondering if the best thing for Scots rugby is to walk away with the wooden spoon giving the SRU no choice but to get shot of Frank Haddon.
On the England front, Martin Johnson has a hellishly steep learning curve and given how much their performance improved between the Italian and Welsh matches, if they can improve by the same amount between the Welsh and Irish matches we could even be in with a shout at beating Ireland. That would leave it with England, France, Ireland and Wales in with a chance of lifting the cup, and if it does go that way, I suspect it'll be decided on points difference, giving England a very unexpected shot.
However, if as expected Ireland win, it'll only really be Wales that will have the chance to stop Ireland walking off with the grand slam.
We will know by ..
is it just me, or are those English types playing a little dirty?
lp
Close.
England played better than they have previously but let indiscipline spoil it towards the end - two players sin-binned for stupid things.
The Irish didn't play to their best.
3-3 at half time summed it up - dull from both sides but the best England could have expected at that point.
Ireland worked harder in the second half and were unlucky. I can't remember which player it was but 18 or 20 shoudl have been binned for the way he took out O'Driscol, no attempt to tackle.
Couple of good English pushes and Mike Tindall pulled a beautty out of thin air.
14-13 to Ireland in the end, the better side won, but as an England fan, some high points to be proud of.
Wales Vs Ireland is normally the best match of the 6 nations. It's normally the best tempered match as well.
Yup, I'll be watching that one, even if it's just on TV.
Ok expected visitors have gone now.
So ready to take an interest, as sort of missed matches so far today!
I guess it's too much to hope for at least one victory for the italian team?
grumblegrubmlesweargrumble...
good thing at least here I can cheer them without starting a political debate...not that it won't be a waste of breath
