Vix is feeling rather poorly this morning, as am I. We decided that, in order to make us feel a little worse about ourselves, we'd take our temperatures. Vix went first. After leaving the digital thermometer under her tongue for about a minute, she took it out and read the result: 69E. We were totally baffled. WTF is 69E?!
A moment later, Vix turns the thermometer over and reads 36.9! :haha:
~Reese! surprised
P.S. Personally, I thought 69E was far more interesting! wink
Told you I was ill.
Wow , you think you know something about sex , then a bit of digital kit points out you never got past 69A . Did it have broadband link to an instructional video for A thru E? 69position
Vix, sorry to hear that you are feeling poorly.
Time to get a new bra perhaps? With results like that I really think you need good support lol

It's OK, Venus, we live in a graveyard, so I know he just wants me to join the neighbours.

Flipper I think you may have hit on a new grading system. Similar to A levels, but these would be 'O' levels. :jagsatwork:

It's hexadecimal (a base-16 number). 69E = 1,694 degrees centigrade. Or maybe fahrenheit.

Let's be really sad and change it into a 16 bit binary number

Another sad bastard alert..........
I sat there and worked out how to translate binary into the alphabet once. Most people use a programme.Iwould use a programme, it`s much quicker! I just wanted to see if I could suss it! redface

It just goes to prove that there are 3 types of people, those that can count and those that can't

Excellent! Perhaps we should start a support group?

Sheesh..
Sounds like a plan, what would we call it?!

Well, I finally took my own temperature, having forgotten to do so after our experience with Vix' "69E". After harbouring the probe sublingually in my mouth, I extracted it to find out just how poorly I might be. To my amazement, the digital display read: "OLE"! Just waiting for the mariachis to arrive now so we can start the fiesta!! rotflmao

Spot on, but the "Authorities" wouldn't allow it in English so it's in Gaelic.
I wondered where I`d heard of that being used. Thankyou, that would have bugged me all day!
On a related note, anyone been to Pierre Lachaise (sp?) it`s the artists and poets graveyard in Paris, well worth a visit. There they have a crypt with the corner `chipped` off, and an undead hand creeping out! I`d have loved to have met the owner of that idea!
